In addition to applying through their home local authority, applicants for Sept 2017 Reception places can complete a form available in the page downloads area or from the school, should they wish to specify a preference as to whether their child attends Lockleaze Road site (90 places) or Orchard Campus (30 places). The School operates an additional separate process to decide which site can be offered to parents”.

In-Year Admissions

An in-year admission means admission to a current year group for a child who is already attending school but wishes to change schools due to relocation or a change in circumstances. Filton Avenue Primary School manages it’s own in-year admissions so if you wish to apply for an in-year place, please contact the school office directly. Your child will normally already be attending or have a place at a school so please speak with your current head teacher prior to making an in-year admission application.
