Our school has an active parents association called Friends of Filton Avenue Schools (FFA). The association seeks to promote parental and local community involvement in your child’s education. Their aim is to support teachers and staff to raise funds for the school, so that our children have access to resources and experiences beyond the schools main funding, as well as providing fun ways for families to socialise with each other.
We plan fun events for the children and their families throughout the school year, which have included; Summer and Winter fairs, cake sales, story evenings and book sales. During the summer we hold picnics and families who are joining the school in September are welcome to come along and get an informal introduction to school life.
The FFA is always grateful for volunteers. If you are interested in helping at an event or joining a committee please contact the FFA via firstname.lastname@example.org or via the school office.
